SODIUM TRISILICATE
Our sodium trisilicate is produced in a state-of-the art granulation plant allowing a careful control of the composition (ratio, hydration, particle size) which ensures a stable product quality ! It is hydrated for a quicker dissolution in water. Sodium trisilicate is a versatile product that shows effective corrosion inhibition, good bleach stabilizing- and binding properties. The product is made from sand and soda ash and recognized as environmentally safe. Our sodium trisilicate is particularly suitable for use in dry-mix products and where less water is desired.
Our hydrated sodium trisilicate contains both silica and alkalinity in a molar ratio of 3,4:1 between silica and sodium oxide. In addition, as it is hydrated it contains 17% of water which improves it's solubility. Our powder range has been specifically developed to meet the demand for different rates of solution and reactivity.
Our sodium trisilicate is available in a fine granular form (200 - 630 micron) and a variety of powder forms: 340P1 (70 micron) and 340P2 (170 micron). The complete product specification and material safety datasheet can be found under downloads. The typical values below are given for informational purposes only.
